The Casati brothers, promising kitesurfers with numerous international titles
Lorenzo Casati, winner of the Red Bull King of the Air 2022, joined the Cabrinha brand together with his younger brother Leonardo right after his victory. However, this collaboration came to an end last August, and their new partnership with Canarias Is The Future has finally been made official.
Accompanied by his brother Leonardo, Lorenzo Casati joins the ranks of Harlem Kitesurfing, a Dutch brand. He stands out for his new big air kite, manufactured in Europe at Brainchild with the welding technique, currently in testing in the magazine KITEBOARDER 136 . Both riders will also be supported by Lieuwe Boards and Appletree Surfboards.
Lorenzo Casati shared his enthusiasm when he said: "When I tested the team, I knew it was the way to go and, after feeling the support of the team, I was convinced. I am more than ready to make the impossible possible with my new family".
The winner of KOTA 2022 will have a major challenge to defend his crown, with a team he only discovered just over a month ago.

Lorenzo and Leonardo Casati
Originally from Lake Como, Italy, they have made their mark in the world of extreme water sports. Their journey, rooted in a passion for the sea and water sports, has taken them to remarkable heights.
Growing up in an environment steeped in sports, the Casati brothers inherited their fervor for athletics from their father, who was one of the pioneers of windsurfing and kitesurfing. With the sea as inspiration, he succeeded in transmitting a deep love for these sports to his children.
Athletics runs through their veins, and from an early age, the brothers showed their talents in the world of sports. Before embarking on their kitesurfing journey, both Lorenzo and Leonardo held the title of Italian tennis champions, a testament to their innate sporting talent.
Their true journey into the world of water sports began when their father introduced them to the coastal paradise of Cape Verde. It was here that they experienced the thrill of surfing and discovered their shared passion for the sea.
Initially, kitesurfing seemed like a sport for older people, but moving to the Canary Islands changed Lorenzo's perspective. Watching young enthusiasts master kitesurfing challenged him to excel in the sport. His new passion, in turn, ignited the same fire in his younger brother, Leonardo. The brothers embarked on a journey of healthy competition, pushing each other to greater heights, backed by the enthusiasm of their father, who took on the dual role of coach and proud father.
Their devotion to kitesurfing and water sports is unimaginable, reflected not only in their athletic achievements, but also in their disciplined lifestyle. The Casati brothers have consciously chosen to stay away from alcohol, drugs and nightlife. Their total focus is directed towards the sea, where they make kitesurfing their lifestyle.
